Interested in Department of Defense (DOD) research funding? Join Lewis-Burke Associates (LBA) LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based federal relations firm, for a workshop designed for UW–Madison faculty on navigating the DOD research landscape. The workshop will include:

• An overview of key DOD funding opportunities (ex. Air Force/Army/Navy basic research, DARPA programs, defense health)
• Guidance on building relationships with DOD program managers
• Practical steps to successfully pursue DOD funding mechanisms such as broad agency announcements and DARPA’s ERIS marketplace
• Time for faculty to meet with LBA experts one-on-one to discuss tailoring research ideas to national security priorities

The workshop will also feature a panel of UW–Madison faculty who will share insights and lessons learned from their experiences securing DOD research grants. Please register online to attend.
